We offer this fabulous service on a pay as you go scheme, in order to encourage expansion of our clients businesses. Our family business has 25 years experience within the mail order, e-commerce and fulfilment industries so you can be confident that your business is in good hands.
When you use Exact Abacus Fulfilment Services you will have access to our on-line software system, 3EX.NET. You can be anywhere on the planet and, via the internet, retain total control of your business and be aware at all times as to the orders being received, picked, packed and dispatched.
Technology behind the scenes
Our Pocket PC's control all of our warehousing activities. Developed in-house by our sister company Exact Abacus Ltd., the Pocket PC technology is part of the next generation, leading-edge software and looks after all aspects of warehouse management including pick processes, replenishment, stocktake, movements and adjustments. This powerful technology speeds up all activities whilst ensuring complete accuracy.

All locations and products are barcoded. Each item is scanned a minimum of 3 times whilst in our warehouse and this guarantees 100% accuracy in all activities... how many fulfilment houses can say that!? Goods inwards are scanned and inspected and then put away into pre-defined locations using our Pocket PC system.

Reporting
At the end of each day you will receive performance reports by email to let you know how many orders have been dispatched. We can create almost any report you require... let us know what you need and we're there to help.
Easy to understand charges
Pay as you go, with per item or per order charges, minimal start up costs and no capital expenditure. Whatever your service requirements, we can help: retail, trade, shop and store replenishment. To make life easy we can include other services within your per order charge such as access to 3EX.NET software system, website and hosting, with no hidden extras.

Will my stock be safe?
Yes, rest assured, we are proud to employ a loyal and dedicated team of staff who have been with us for many years. We have software and physical procedures in place which prevent anomolies: Pocket PC software, internal reporting and regular 'stock - spot checks'.
We have implemented high level security access to the building such as Fire and Intruder Alarm: REDCARE GSM System and physical protections such as Ram raid posts, alarmed/secured electric shutter doors, cctv cameras, secure key fob access into our warehouse and throughout the building.
Will my stock be looked after in a clean environment and professional manner?
Yes, our modern and impressive building not only houses our warehouse and call centre but has mezzanined offices for our sister software company Exact Abacus Ltd. Our warehouse is regularly organised, locations replenished, packing benches cleaned and re-stocked.
We have 4 types of pick bins dependent on type of product:
- Segregated shelf space
- crisp bin - d90cm:w41cm:h24cm
- plastic bin - d37cm:w26cm:h19cm
- large cardboard pull out boxes with 3 sections - d90cm:w43cm:h48cm each.
Currently, we house a variety of types of products: Organic/Cotton Clothing, Organic Toiletries, Organic products, Baby products, Childrens toys, Nursery furniture and accessories, Books, CD’s, Haberdashery.
We have a health and safety official onsite to ensure that we are compliant with all up to date regulations.
How do I know if my stock has arrived?
There's a couple of ways; one is to view your system and if the order in question has moved to Goods In Inspection then your order has arrived in to us and we will be putting it through our checking system. Otherwise, feel free to phone our Goods-in Team and they will be happy to help with any questions you may have.
Will my orders be dispatched on time?
Yes, you can choose from one of three 'cut-off' times, which ever suits you best: 12pm, 2pm or 4pm. Any orders received up to these times will be dispatched same day, any thereafter will be dispatched following day. We operate Monday to Friday 8am to 6.00pm and have collections for most carriers i.e. Royal Mail, Parcelforce every evening. However, should the need arise we are in the fortunate position to amend our operation at short notice and operate longer hours, upon our Clients needs.
Each day you will receive a performance report to let you know the amount of orders that have been dispatched. You can view your order invoices live via your 3EX.NET system.

If I need to talk to someone about a specific order, who can I talk to?
Call us direct; we have multiple phones lines, mobile numbers and individual email addresses for our Clients and their Suppliers to contact us on. You can communicate with our Director, Warehouse Manager, Goods-In Department and Warehouse Supervisor; each of these members of staff are dedicated to you and your business. They will know your products and business requirements. We are an extension of your company, and are there to help to build your business.
